Yaw With the Yod ~ 5 February 2010

Before diving in with this week’s celestial assessment, I want to put last week’s moon madness mess to rest. The Galactic Times is read on every continent. I am acutely aware of the hemispheric and time zone bias that can easily occur considering one’s position on Earth and I do my dangest to include everyone. But with the lunation alignment (lack of alignment) with the Gregorian Calendar, it was impossible to make one accurate global statement about the lunation patterns.

Depending upon where in the world you life, it is true that there was a blue moon in December of last year. It is also false. It is true there is a blue moon in January. It is also false. It is true there will be no full moon in February. It is also false. Again, the truth or falseness lies in the time zone where you live. My apologies for the cluster flux of confusion. But where I am is just east of tomorrow.

So now we contend with one of those adjustment invoking quincunx pattens between Jupiter in Pisces quincunx Saturn in Libra. Real world manifestations of this appear with the Toyota foot pedal debacle. The well-intended missionaries in Haiti arrested for trafficking children also reflect this pattern. Politicians from both primary parties in the United States also give meaning to the pattern as they now oppose their own legislation or demonstrate newly found enlightenment on issues that they previously found objectionable - in an election year, no less.

Soon Mars joins the fray. For all intents and purposes Mars stands in orb now. Come Tuesday he’s tightly woven with Jupiter through a quincunx while sextile Saturn. This makes Jupiter the finger of a Finger of God pattern (a yod). Mars will remain in a virtual sextile with Saturn from now through the end of March.

This planetary rendering offers some viable solutions for the “put a hold on new action” dictum that astrologers traditionally recommend during Mars retrograde. Let’s take a look at the components.

Jupiter in Pisces presents a “fortify your faith,” and get clear on your rhyme and reason agenda. Once a clear platform underscores one’s consciousness there is no longer a need for pusillanimousness.

Saturn in Libra balances the scene by taking all points of view into account. It is difficult to empathize with those whose moccasins you’ve never worn. Saturn realizes that is the best way to ensure plans forming and actions topping the agenda truly seek to create positive outcomes for all involved. No shoving in line. Play nicely in the sandbox.

Mars in Leo insists upon burning bright and being a great source of pure illumination. No matter what, remain true to yourself. Flip that ego patty over and over until you have a confident, soulful self void of vanity and venial obsessions.

A summary of the above presents the following questions and recommendations:

What previous projects need resuscitating?

Should projects need revisiting, start by conducting a thorough review of the underlying agenda for the project.

Did it have a purpose?

Were the mission statement and end result benefits clearly defined?

Was it based upon higher principles or ulterior agendas seeped out, polluting the motive?.

Revisit your visions of your participation in the project. Were you, in your mind’s eye, a hero or heroine who could not be touched by the rules of humankind and the restrictions of life on earth? Or did you fancy yourself as a martyred sort? Where do you reckon the point of balance is between those? Confidence with humility, perchance?

Those matters answered:

Revisit the original inspiration.

Create a clear objective and purpose.

Find the middle ground of pitching. Locate non rabid enthusiasm and shun the urge to undersell your agenda. Sure, the idea of leaving them hungry for more is valid. But starving the curiosity of critical players in your scheme also fails to get you there.

Maintain your involvement. If you sold a reality TV show, would you take the “created by” title and cash and run? If you do, your vision might be steered away from your intentions by those now onboard with no sense of where you started. Build a mind set of finishing to stack upon the courage required for creation.

Recognize each obstacle on the course as the lesson of learning to dive into your creative reservoir at will, have a little swim, emerging refreshed and with an inspired solution. This doesn’t have to be an hour long meditation. It could be as brief as a two-minute refresh retreat, away from the focus of the challenge and with the agenda of re-lighting your pilot light.

Over the next couple of weeks (Feb 9 - Feb 17 +/- 2 days), Venus and the Sun align with the imagination rich, profundity endowed black hole Cygnus X-3. As well Ceres, in Sagittarius (March 6 +/- seven days) aligns with the Galactic Center, looking for progressive ideas and critical information that can support the down trodden of this planet, whether that refers to economically, emotionally and evolutionarily down trodden. Just in case you’re not sure where to look for inspiration, propitiation to both these goddess gals might do the magic.

While fixity of objective and resolve in all things can be admirable traits, the flux of the yod insists that course correction must be applied in the most timely manner possible. No texting on final approach. Tweeting during one of life’s most potent moments might leave you wondering what happened. Hands on the wheel, attention on the task at hand and you’ll likely get there and in a timely manner.
