Making Magic of the Mutable Mess ~ May 27, 2008

The planetary attitude in the air feels like thick muck out there. It’s like gardening after a torrential thunderstorm. Rain rich mud clings to one’s shoes (or bare feet for daring soles/souls) adding retarding weight to each step. Saturn in mutable Virgo clocks the muck-making planet matrix, demanding a methodical, timely step by step, stone by stone strategy be applied. The planetary wild hare, Uranus, splashes in all the mutable Piscean puddles possible, foolishly thumbing his nose at Saturn. Maybe it takes the foppish approach of the fool to secure more solid footing in life. Then again, maybe a concise road map or galactic GPS tracking does the trick. Or given the need to mix and match during mutable passages, let’s apply a combo platter.

The Gemini mutable sign passages of the Sun, Mercury and Venus make tense relationships to Saturn and Uranus via the challenging, in your face, rise to the occasion ninety degree angles that test the limits of structure and receptivity to change. This confirms the need for a blend of traditional procedures and the inclusion of improved, innovative methods conjures a way to make magic out of this mutable muck/matrix/mishmash thing.

Two sets of black hole patterns and the Galactic Center provide templates of consciousness that offer insight, innovation and inspiration to a mentally jumbled interval fraught with multiple priorities and demands for mundane multi-tasking while focusing upon brass ring consciousness offering multiple right answers and option-oriented reality onboard the carousel of life.

The first set of black holes we’ll label Group 1, something like a boarding group on an airline. This collection consists of five black holes in the early degrees of Virgo and six notable singularities (the worm hole part of the black hole) in Sagittarius. A primary cycle of this pattern demands an interval of 283 seconds of conscious attention to any new idea to ensure its capture when detected in the galactic ethers. Failing to apply the five minute surge rule for new ideas likely leaves the ideas flat and impossible to make sense of later. Like a sprout planted in a garden, the initial attention is critical. Typically longer interval blasts of new ideas rock for ten to eleven days when these black holes are stimulated, followed by a flat, new idea free zone of twenty-five days. This new idea flat zone allows ample time to flesh out recently received ideas and carries bare bones ideas forward with meaty appeal. Success is promised as Saturn in Virgo and later in the cycle, Mars, combine with the Sun, Mercury and Venus to light up these black holes like luminarias at a pool party.

The second set of black holes focuses upon five points roughly two-thirds of the way through Sagittarius. These black holes declare a specific set of mental attitudes to apply to one’s beliefs. Speak from the authority of your wisdom, which the black holes declare as the result of experience applied with consciousness. These black holes detest the proclamation that one teaches what needs to be learned. The singularities fancy experts, sages, crones and those who have learned from the process of life. They urge following one’s nature such that the spiritual instincts declare one’s ever-evolving creed instead of a doctrine that can be idly recited without connection or intention. These black holes promote consistency between belief and action, resulting in laser-like brilliance to apply to all challenges in life. This will be Group 2, not to imply lesser favor, but simply patterns that occur after the time of Group 1 events.

We’ll deal directly with the Galactic Center as we go, remembering that Pluto will leave Capricorn soon, and squeeze this black hole like a lime, going for all the flavors of consciousness possible.

So here are the unfolding planetary beats:

May 22 - Sun in Gemini square Saturn in Virgo (Group 1). While completed last week, did you feel the urge to buckle down, sort out distracting details and reset priorities? You did that, right? And with that effort, a tad more space cleared in the brain to ponder other issues.

May 24 - Ceres in Gemini square Uranus in Pisces, quincunx Jupiter in Capricorn (Group 2). Ceres intends to protect the downtrodden and those who do not know better in a perfect scenario. However, she has no problem cutting off her nose to spite her face while doing so. For those of you not caring two hoots about baseball, please indulge another baseball image. Last Friday, Doug Davis of the Arizona Diamondbacks pitched a fabulous come back game (and cancer survivor Jon Lester pitched a no hitter earlier in the week), having recently undergone surgery and subsequent treatment for thyroid cancer. Throughout the evening, baseball pundits acknowledged the source of inspiration and courage that the mutably well endowed Virgo pitcher with Mars in Gemini provided. Those feeling downtrodden (or even overloaded) and reading this post might fell the inspiration of iconic heroes and determined people dealing with adversity from illness to weather tragedies to crises of spirit as to avoid succumbing to impossibility or negativity while engaging in life’s campaigns.

May 26 - Mercury in Gemini, changes his mind and goes retrograde square Uranus in Pisces as Venus in Gemini squares Saturn in Virgo (Group 1 and 2). The bottom line? People want what they want, which is affordable quality, a clear sense of direction and a statement of redefined and improved purpose. Replace assumptions facts and speak with clear, well thought declaration. Apply the “speak then listen” rule of thumb, repeated as many times as necessary to make communication work.

June 7 - Mercury conjunct the Sun (Group 2). This alignment marks the midpoint of Mercury retrograde and also shows itself as Mercury directly aligned with Earth. It’s a great time to communicate on matters mundane. Sometimes, with all the other discombobulation out there, you can actually get things through the cracks. It’s a decent time to give your pitch a chance if you can’t wait.

June 9 - Superior conjunction of Venus in occultation (Group 2). This eight year alignment with Venus on the other side of the Sun brings monetary and relational issues into aligned focus, oddly through a “guess what I have hidden in my hands behind my back?” feeling. While guarding one’s emotional sensibilities, add precision to communication as to ensure no need, requirement or desire lacks full disclosure. Once expressed, one can embrace the resulting desires and magically appearing economic benefits with receptivity.

June 11 - Venus in Gemini square Uranus in Pisces (Group 2). What if you get what you want and you decide that’s not it? Or what if your personal need turned into a fad? What if you realize that as you get more, you can ask for more? These effects would be the personification of this pattern. You might as well hold nothing back. If you have unorthodox desires, say so. The key: Ask for what you want without justification, rationalization or excuses.

June 12 - Sun square Uranus (Group 2). Be all that you can be. And that means all you can be. Be odd, unusual, unorthodox, full of your best, rich in spirit and again, render no apologies for whom you happen to be.

June 16 - Venus opposed Galactic Center. What if you developed an unconventional model for all your one to one relationships that allows for expression of the wildest, most far out, coolest ideas without disagreement? Sounds about right. Delete any agenda of converting those close to you into compliance with all your ideas. With this pattern, the greater the difference between the ideas held by you and yours, the steamier the connection becomes.

June 17 - Sun opposed Galactic Center. Fabulous ideas drop into receptive minds in a faster than light manner? You up for it? If you’re not, someone else will abscond with your greater ideas. Harness inspiration. Apply progressive ideas as solutions. Resist the urge to point out problems for which you have no solutions.

June 19 - Mercury mercifully returns to direct motion. Any hiccups in communication can be excused with a moment or six of mental repose and rearticulation. If it didn’t go down right before, fix it now.

July 4 - Mercury square Uranus (Group 2). What a fabulous time to speak out on behalf of any out of the box concept you’ve been harboring. Have you ever noticed that those who think out of the box are highly paid to offer solutions to those stuck in tradition and routine? Have you noticed this in the Mac computer commercials where they make fun of the nerdy PC guy in a suit.? In these ads the laid back, cool longer haired guy has the better answer. The same theme appears in United Parcel commercials in which another long hair guy sporting casual dress sets the uptight guy in the suit straight? There’s more money in weird than sticking to old, non-evolving ways.

July 10 - Just after Mercury opposes the Galactic Center, Mars conjoins Saturn four days after the Moon passed both Mars and Saturn, both of which stand upon the early mutable black holes squared by the Sun, Mercury and Venus at the commencement of this mutable matrix (Group 1). It takes a plan that you can wrap around emotionally. If the plan feels discordant or off, it won’t fly. Once the plan settles into the psyche, energize. Light it up and get on with it. Since the short burst Mars wants to drive forward in fast, impulsive surges, keep him fresh. Tell him each day is a new beginning. That should work. With ongoing daily energetic application of the above, it’s only natural that and manifestation of brilliant ideas and magic be the grand result.

Go for it. Spin the matrix and weave some magic. It’s there for all who can defeat overwhelm, maintain viable proved practices and innovate.
