Pluto’s Last Gander at the GC ~ August 5, 2008

Pluto, now retrograde in Sagittarius, inches back closer to the Galactic Center for one last look in this orbital revolution. In just over a month, he resumes direct motion, leaving the Galactic Center in the rear view mirror while stirring up quite the undercurrent of Galactic Center inspired inspiration one more time. This should not be perceived as the end all of Galactic Center energy. Hardly. So maybe think of it like Galactic Stew?

When cooking up a stew, ingredients have different cooking times. For instance, firmer vegetables like carrots and turnips need to cook longer than tomatoes and these all require less cooking time than wild rice. Pluto just added some ultra intense spice to the galactic stew pot that when tasted, inspires a “m-m-m-m” sound accompanied by the speculation of the source of the mysterious and compelling taste... an exotic underworld spice, no doubt.

Given the Wright Brothers successfully flew their aircraft for the first time (and granted, their “first flight” is contested for first status) with the Sun and Uranus near the Galactic Center, aviation breakthroughs often occur with transits to the Galactic Center. But days ago, Richard Branson of Virgin Everything, revealed Space Ship Two. This spacecraft/aircraft is the vehicle in which passengers will ultimately ride into the dark sky of space - a first for non-astronauts and of course, a right reserved for those who have done the plutocratic thing well by making and hoarding enough money to pay for this costly adventure. Someday, though, space travel will be commercially viable and cost about the same as commercial air travel given the astronomical rise of fuel prices. Oh, and by the way, oil while seen as a Neptunian commodity by astrologers, is created in and extracted from the realm of Pluto.

We now prepare for a series of systematic contacts to the Galactic Center from Virgo. It’s almost as if a jig saw puzzle of inspiration is spread out in front of us, awaiting our attention and application. It should be noted that the hardest aspects to integrate with the Galactic Center come from the squares from Pisces and Virgo. Pisces energy, based upon experience, anticipates the rejection of new, zany ideas from traditionalists and those content with the way things are done and lacking the aspiration to augment something that ain’t broke. Pisces commonly holds back on full disclosure of innovative insights, often regretting the act when others eventually come up with the same inspiration and profit from it. Piscean energy remains ultra-sensitive to being declared “off” or too “out there” despite the merit of far-reaching thinking. The Virgo axis does not take kindly to rejection of galactically inspired and well-thought ideas and does not care to hear an onslaught of negative, nay saying thinking conjured up by short-sighted individuals. Thus, Virgo energy might withhold a brilliant insight and like its Piscean colleague, miss out on quite the opportunity.

The solution for both these square patterns is to offer viable, economically solid constructs for the innovations at the get go. That’s where people get onboard. When the Wright Brothers first flew (or whomever it actually was) people did not rush to obtain boarding passes. A good part of the collective consciousness reported that if God had intended for people to fly, we’d all have wings. As time passed and the benefits of aviation became evident - long distance travel faster - it caught on. The same is true for inventions, consciousness agendas, methods of keeping the world green and truly progressive legislation. Those with the fortitude to put new ideas out there may now apply to the office of Pluto personnel for the ongoing work being conducted at Galactic Center Inc. A final thought on the process: Some might put up as a squash factor, “Who do you think you are to come up with new ideas, inventions and such?” The answer is a simple one: “Who are you not to use the God-given gifts of insight and consciousness? Do you honestly dare say ‘No,’ to your creator??”

This Friday Mars aligns with Makemake, creating one of the first potent aspects to assess the new planets meaning. This pattern also sets up a theoretical pattern of cross-cultural application; this is the start of the Olympics. Six days later Mars proceeds to square the GC and another couple days later, Pluto. If Mars to Makemake not considerate of other cultures and philosophically inclusive, then there can be international political belligerence. In the spirit of Makemake, I am including a fabulous picture of the solar eclipse (permission graciously rendered by the photographer, Mohammad Soltanolkotabi) taken in the Sheikh Lutffullah mosque in Esfahan, Iran. After all, the Mars to Makemake conjunction is approximately the time midpoint of this month’s eclipses.

Mars leads the upcoming sequence of squares to the Galactic Center, commencing August 14th. Previously received innovations demand immediate attention and a plan of implementation. It is a “show, don’t tell” phase, in which new ideas once demonstrated catch on with great acclaim. No ideas to implement? Not to worry. On the 26th of August Mercury squares the Galactic Center and the next day Venus joins the effort. Ideas of galactic merit will need to be revealed and completely detailed regardless of the anticipated response(s). Closing out this next cycle, the Sun squares the Galactic Center on September 18th. Most certainly, some of the ideas recently disclosed - and possibly rejected - start to make sense. Those who rejected or ignored ideas scramble about trying to find the scraps of paper upon which the insights were jotted.

You might as well use these patterns. It’s not the end of Galactic Center stimulation. In fact, it’s the seeding of later applications and successes of Galactic Center insights. In September of 2009 and May of 2010 (close on its retrograde station), Saturn makes potent squares to the Galactic Center. Saturn promises to bring to form and into collective acceptance those ideas developed by puzzle makers who pieced this current and previous GC cycles together. In March 2010, Uranus squares the Galactic Center and in September and October 2010, Jupiter joins Uranus, finishing up with his promises of success in December 2010. This bold planetary pairing in Pisces says, “See, if you follow our lead and stop pussy footing about when it comes to innovation and applying your wildest imaginings, there’s still time to save the world before the Mayan Calendar runs out. You up for it?”

“Yeah,” asks Pluto from his present Galactic Center proximity. “Are you? Then, stop stewing.”
