Next on the “how cool is this?” list, I just received an announcement that the new Solar Fire, version 7, begins shipping tomorrow also. For those of you Galactic Trilogy owners you can get an update for your existing Solar Fire, or get Solar Fire for the first time and at a 15% discount! Click here for more details. This new version will allow you to select the new planets, Eris and Sedna, right along with those planets we’ve been using all along. There are other whistles and bells, too! This version offers some absolutely fabulous features. I’m e-mailing an order for my upgrade tonight!

Meanwhile, back in the thick of life, the Sun moved into the innovative, conceptual Aquarius today. This marks the start of a long window of abundances of Aquarian energy for all of us. Simply, there’s no telling what you might be able to conjure up in your mind if you set aside even a modicum of time and space to wax contemplative. Two supercharging booster rockets assist seekers in locating some lofty, inspired ideas. Mars, in Gemini, just completed his retrograde opposition to the “knows all and tells all” (to those who tune in) Galactic Center. Over the next couple of days, Venus directly aligns with the rather cosmically chatty GC.

The effect of Mars to the GC might have manifested while engaged in idle tinkering or absent minded doodling during recent phone conversations or during those interest lulls in shows on the television. Go back a few days and see if you maybe discovered or invented something while working off mental energy with basic “mindless” activity. Instead of sleight of hand, this is fullness of hand; a very cool idea might literally linger at your fingertips.

Venus is the last conjunction transit to the GC for a spell. She intends to refresh our memories of great ideas that started during December’s flurry of holiday activity. Remember all those fabulous ideas that there was no time to commence because of holiday and year end pressures? This is the time to reinvigorate whatever progressive and consciousness bearing ideas came your way from the middle of December up to now. Since Venus renders value as she goes, ponder those concepts and assign value, worth, purpose, contribution and benefit. This way what you sense to be but a fleeting thought becomes the flagship of an armada of applied inspiration. With value assigned, it’s more likely that you’ll spend the time required to flesh out the insights into viable products, tools and streams of consciousness. Once fleshed out, start creating a plan. In a few days, Venus engages the potent, resource oriented Pluto. He might ask a speculator, “Where’s the money gonna come from to do that?” While the motivation to seek funding or find a way to put together whatever it takes to build this ship you want to sail, maybe asking for the bucks first goes against practical logic. No worries. Later this week Venus moves into Capricorn, setting energy right for an agenda of progress. Create time lines, lists of all things required, people power this thing will take and figure out how much funding it all requires. Yep, it’s time to get down and dirty with all those far out ideas. With ducks in a row, you may approach the powers that be, asking for the support, resources and assistance required. In astrology land we call this Venus crossing Jupiter, which happens on first of February.

This passage is not the only time this year when great ideas can be proposed and connected with the resources required to get a great idea done. It’s just the next one. Sure Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th (back direct on February 19th) and you might wonder if it’s worth mentioning it at all. It is. Truly galactic ideas take time for people to wrap their brains around. In fact, they might not get it at first. Sometimes it can take years, months, but here with Venus to the opportunistic Jupiter, we’re hoping for days. Mercury, after finishing up a retrograde era, returns to retrace degrees previously transited. Given there may be a lag time in people figuring out the merit of the really fantabulous ideas you render, this retrogradation allows time for reflection, reconsideration and then, getting it. If you pitched an idea with a great transit during Mercury retro and expected an immediate response, you’ll likely come out disappointed. Since you go in pitching just to present the idea and allow catch up time, you’ll be working in perfect accord with the transit patterns. There are patterns more powerful than Mercury retrograde - like patterns involving Jupiter. Given Jupiter often overturned trends he did not favor, if he takes a liking to your careful planning, inspired application of creativity and ingenuity, he might see fit to bring out of this world ideas down to Earth. Says Jupiter in Capricorn, “You’ll never know if you don’t put it out there.”

Remember, there’s galactic gusto backing all this up... and that gusto gushes with urging that sounds like, “Get going!”

If you’d like a nudge along the way, you can sign up for a consultation, get a Galactic Trilogy CD or tune into the new Solar Fire software. At least take a peek at the scopes on www.mommytalk.com.
