Jamming on Jupiter ~ 7 June 2006

Those tracking the movement of the grand, embellishing, “Jeez, I hope this is my lucky day,” Jupiter know that in but a month the gaseous giant will have turned direct. For those feeling that things keep slipping off the finger tips and staying frustratingly just out of reach, rejoice. When Jupiter shifts direction on July 6th, all opportunities sought since last October return for another look. True, right now with pushy, testy Mars and Jupiter moving up to an impatient, foot stopping “I want my opportunity now” square, that all seems like pie in the sky, which it is. Your pie slices of the heavens are still promisingly in the sky and will get served up soon. Sure, pal, easy for you to write all about it. Not so easy to invoke... not necessarily.

Once Jupiter turns, things move swiftly. At the end of August into early September, Jupiter moves across two of the most powerful points in Scorpio. More on that as August gets here. Suffice it to say you’ve been given a heads up in plenty of time to clear grumpy demands, sort through lost possibilities and recover your feel for the reins of life. One of these two points manifests from a collision of two galaxies in space, resulting in a phenomenal black hole. Ironically, this black hole - an entity that can consume light - is the most luminous and brightest point in our local galactic grouping and showers us all with the radiations of cosmic comprehension, internally generated insight and the impetus to transform in exponential measure above and beyond known personal growth curves.

We all know the old metaphysical axiom, “As in black holes, so on Jupiter,” (the original translation got muffed when it was translated by aliens in a galactic system that seems to always move retrograde by proper motion). That axiom stands true today. Most folks know about the red spot on Jupiter. It’s a big old hurricane several centuries old. If you were to look at Jupiter through one of Galileo’s telescopes, unlike the bigoted religious clergy of his time, you’d see a smaller red spot to the right and above the famous red spot. That’s another hurricane of more recent origin. Notably, these two potent vortices now merge together on Jupiter soon to become one regenerated perfect storm.

A while back I had quite a compelling conversation with a Vedic astrologer colleague about the change in Jupiter’s transit quality that most seem to miss. Since the collision of Comet Shumaker-Levy with Jupiter during the interval of 16 - 22 July, 1994, Jupiter transits saunter by like the ole gray mare - they ain’t what it used to be. Consider that we’re now approaching July of 2006 - 12 years and one sidereal period of Jupiter later. It seems that Jupiter currently self-heals and regenerates itself with this internal storm merger. Maybe, just maybe, and let all Scorpio types hope and pray with the fervent intensity they so well know, Jupiter transits are about to return to full potency.

Maybe it’s like a merger of spirit and body, ala soul retrieval modalities. Maybe it’s like combining creative juices and gases with one whose energy is totally akin to your own. Maybe it’s that team up with someone who gets it and can match your energy life theme and style. Maybe it’s like two people storming the marketplace with the refreshing, rejuvenating, restorative rain of their combined creative processes. Regardless, it’s time to start jamming on Jupiter. How?

Glad you asked. First, make a sheet of belief systems you’d like to shed. Call this the “I get to be wrong about the fact that...” worksheet. Between now and early July write down every idea you hold as gospel that you’d like to convert to a falsehood. Then, burn it. Cast the remnants out in the manner of the element of your natal Jupiter. Water sign Jupiters can flush it away or drop the ashes (which are purified) into a frothing river. Earth sign Jupiters can bury it while those air sign Jupiters cast the ashes to the four winds. For those of you with fiery Jupiter signs, keep burning it until it’s gone. Next, make a new list of beliefs you’d like to hold. As Jupiter turns (or before if you like, but do it again on the date of the station), proclaim your new beliefs to the high heavens. When Jupiter passes over head would be a good time... and that happens conveniently every night over the next months no matter where on Earth you live. Next, walk the talk. Do life as if you believe in those things you proclaim as your truth. Have no expectation of failure, but believe that Saturn loves hard-working souls and works with his gaseous pal, Jupiter, to fulfill sweaty efforts on the part of well intentioned, clearly focused, highly inspired folk. Then, you’ll be jamming Jupiter.

Remember the most important part: the collision of potent systems. Whether that’s getting your soul firmly connected to your skin and bones or teaming up in an unfailing bond with those whose spirit resonates as yours, Jupiter clearly reveals the signs of the times.
