Almost Official ~ 07 September 2006

I’m going to steal a page from Donald Rumsfeld, United States Secretary of Defense. It seems his recent controversial speech prompted so much misinterpretation that he wrote it out for an op-ed in The Los Angeles Times. My clarification is somewhat political, too. It is about the politics of astronomy and how it impacts astrology. And it’s almost official. Three dwarf planet contenders received minor planet numbers, meaning now the orbital data (based upon September’s revisions) can be considered accurate. And, the bodies can now receive a name. That could take a while longer... then again, maybe not.

            The numbers are:

            2003 UB313 = 136199

            2003 EL61 = 136108

            2005 FY9 = 136472

And the minor planet number for Pluto posted on September 8th: 134340

To review, I suggest we include the entirety of the Kuiper Belt, it’s major players (and lesser players) and that we understand the consciousness breakthroughs implied. We have a series of bodies - Evolutionary Intensified Objects, EIO’s by my trademarked nomenclature - that allow human consciousness to accept the entirety of the known solar system and allow for more discoveries yet unknown. With such acceptance arrive the gifts of new consciousness, emotional clearing and psychic unfoldment.

I do not support the IAU’s redefinition and reclassification of Pluto. I accept it, just as I had to accept the election and inauguration of a President of the United States that I believed in my heart of hearts would be counter-evolutionary.          But here’s what I’m thinking: The overly sanitized “let’s exclude everything Kuiper” definition will have exceptions discovered within five years. Come 2015, the New Horizons probe reaches the Pluto-Charon pairing. That’s going to be a real interesting burst of solar system information. The search in the heavens shall more aggressively exceed the dimensions of the plane of the ecliptic - the two dimensional framework of what is ahead, behind, left and right orientation that gets us through the day. That thinking is fine as long as you’re not in a submarine (or scuba diving) or flying in an airplane. There will be things that defy our dimensional reality and exceed the plane of our ecliptic. My contention is that this vertical ranging of discoveries, does away with the astrological concept of out of bounds. How’s that for thinking outside the flat world? Oh yeah, while some astrophysicists contend the Universe is flat, I disagree. Course, unlike actual physical discoveries we’re tracking, these a lot of speculations come out of a part of the body that Pluto rules.

Further, here’s what I’m suggesting:

All the bodies in the Kuiper Belt with mass equal to or exceeding Pluto hold extreme potency in astrological interpretation, regardless of inclination of their orbit, meaning proximity to the ecliptic.

If you believe in gravity, size matters and dwarf planets cannot be overlooked. Thus, the asteroids Ceres, Vesta, Pallas and Hygeia require added astrological emphasis and inclusion.

Of the centaur bodies, Chariklo is more important than Chiron. She is notably larger.

We accept our evil twin (Charon) and realize that in the process of transformation not everyone is up to the task (thus the downgrade as some dare to classify it).

136919 is more significant that Pluto and her orbit provides the next step after transformation and personal evolution after an underworld journey. After all, what good is the process of spiritual evolution if one does nothing with it?

Sedna, the Oort cloud object that travels through the realm of the Kuiper Belt Objects, represents the farthest outreach of consciousness of known dimensions and takes up to the theoretical edge of our solar system.

Only visible planets “rule” signs. By this classical definition, the neo-classic Uranus has rulership. Stay tuned, I’m getting to it. There are a lot of numbers to crunnh and facts to check.

It’s time to be aware of the actual constellation that an object travels. Since Kuiper Belt objects have more extreme ranges, many more constellations outside the plane of the ecliptic shall be transited. As it is now, the Moon can pass six constellations more than the ecliptic. The classical planets include passages in Canis Minor, Crater, Hydra (there’s a Pluto satellite link), Pegasus, Scutum and Serpens. Pluto in total, transits 41 constellations (including the zodiac twelve).

The body known as Trans-Pluto that exists in most astrological software was based upon calcs done before a math error in the orbit of Uranus came to light in 1999. In fact, Clyde Tombaugh used this erroneous math while searching for Pluto. He should not have been looking where he was. Anyway, this body does not physically exist and falls into purely hypothetical realms.

I’ve long contended that astrologers irrationally marry concepts and fail to shift gears even when facts, data, realizations and enhanced understanding suggest the need to do so (Of course, so do astronomers and other sorts of astrophysicists.) Consider the unwillingness to put Pluto under the new banner and fully embrace the EIO’s. What about considering that perhaps we bungled the concept of rulerships in modern times? Consider there is no empirical reason for progressions to work. Houses exist because of translation errors. The Gauquelin research redefined house strength assessments (more clearly, planetary relationships to angles).

What if we understand how astronomy applies and weave it in with our science? What if we recognize the reality of the solar system, not just the solar system we’ve known in the past. What if we study orbital dynamics. And what if we grow into the reality of the solar system our galaxy and Universe?

It’s all part of Pluto’s motion to the Galactic Center, really. Evolve or wither it declares. The whole theme of political denial and misinformation running wildly amok fits the archetype. That’s why I feel the need to re-clarify. What I’m saying now is what I’ve been saying all along. Figure out how to understand the solar system and its meaning to souls in bodies, animals, stones, water and aethers.

You know, I’m thinking Charon might actually be the part of the underworld inviting you to look under the bed. What if there is something there? There is something there: Balls of dust, perhaps symbolic of the icy dust balls at the edge of our solar system. According to the new rules, if you don’t use 136919, you don’t get to use Pluto. If you use Pluto, 136919 inseparably links to that cosmic turf. Cool, isn’t it?
