Rising Stars, Part 2 ~ Arizona Fall League ~ 08 November 2006 and beyond...
Get your transit scorecards ready. It's time for more preview of upcoming stars from the Arizona Fall League. Part of my motivation for writing about these baseball prospects is about understanding the nature of sudden success patterns in astrology. Most astrologer's files contain tons of charts of life's horrors: surgery dates, accidents, relationship breakups, forced job changes and relocation. Ugh. After a while, you expect such events and scout those when scanning a horoscope. When an astrologer fields a question regarding submitting a project or manuscript or the best time to move to LA for a film career or Austin to hit the music scene, there's a lack of things that worked out well in the resource file. If we can watch some of these talents make it to the big leagues, we'll build success pattern profiles that can be applied to all walks of life.
Michael Garciaparra, as
his name implies, is the brother of Los Angeles Dodger, Nomar Garciaparra -
now a baseball legend and married to Olympic soccer hero, Mia Hamm. That's got
to be hard. At Fall League, Garciaparra with the Seattle Mariners
organization, gets an extra dose of attention from autograph hounds. This younger
sibling wonders why. Natal Eris (15 Aries 11) stands out as the virtual midpoint
of the his Sun-Mercury conjunction in Aries. Since Eris naturally ponders dynamics
of inclusion and exclusion, undoubtedly part of his aloofness to autograph hounds
dogging him, comes from wondering is it about Nomar or is it his talent?
This Garciaparra holds so much fire in his chart that his energy seems to seethe when on the field. His reflexes seem faster than average and he's never hesistant to challenge an umpire's call. When he comes to the batter's box, he sports similar nervous/prep patterns as his brother. At least Michael wears no batting gloves, so the tugs and twists on the hand protection before each swing is non-existent. But he taps his toes and performs orchestrated, memorized leg and foot positioning before every swing. His angled stances reminds a baseball fan familiar with the Dodgers of his brother. Does all this help? This boy can hit. A crisp swing and the awareness to hit the ball where it is pitched, he stands out as one of the top hitters in the Fall League.
Given a plethora of planets in Sagittarius, about to enjoy the praise and forward pushing propellant of Jupiter, Garciaparra's chart makes it personal. His Moon, somewhere in Sag (time unknown) receives extra attention from Jupiter off season as does his Sun, through a trine no less. As the season commences next year, Jupiter trines Mercury and later in the season, retrogrades back over the Sun (June) and resumes prograde motion in August near his Jupiter, then trining the Sun again. While this could portend starting the season with the Mariners, a slight adjustment to the majors in June, or coming up the the majors once Jupiter returns to direct motion in Sag come summer, he appears to be certain to smell the extra green grass of major league parks during 07's season. He will be a talent to reckon with; move over Pete Rose, here comes the next Charlie Hustle. No matter if Eris prods him to compete with his brother; Michael possesses all the talent he needs. He'll be a bright point on the compass of the talent navigation system of Seattle's franchise for sure.
Playing
on the Phoenix Desert Dogs is Rhame “Chip” Cannon
from the Toronto Blue Jays. Quick sure hands, solid instincts
and anticipation of the ball come from he Mercury-Uranus conjunction and place
his as a great defender. I overheard a coach describe him as a solid player,
something that both Venus and the Moon in Capricorn offer this Sagittarian.
Another player with Jupiter transits during the off season, Spring training
looks entirely promising for Cannon as does the entire season of 2007. While
noted as quite the prospect, his Moon and Venus demonstrate ample reserve. If
you have a chat with the lad and pass along a compliment, he'll likely offer
no response. It can be really had to take a compliment for those personal Cap
planets. No matter, he has talent that speaks for himself.
